SXSW (pronounced south by southwest) is Austin’s city-wide yearly pageant for all issues music, movie, and tech. As a Cisconian, I’m intrigued by the brand new tech and startups. As an Austinite, I are inclined to keep away from driving or eating downtown to keep away from site visitors and crowds. However, my love for all issues new and glossy has overshadowed my introverted self from staying at dwelling, and I’ll be talking and representing Cisco at SXSW for two days!
Startup Crawl on the Capital Manufacturing unit
The enjoyable kicks off Friday March 10th at 5PM for the Startup Crawl on the Capital Manufacturing unit. A couple of of my colleagues and I can be showcasing the most popular open-source device for RESTful APIs (API Insights), giving freely swag, and difficult attendees with our “Are you smarter than a 5th grade ChatGPT bot” trivia sport. Our pals over at Cisco ET&I can be becoming a member of us with extra giveaways and demos of Panoptica and Calisti. We wrap up the Startup Crawl at 9PM and final 12 months there have been over 10,000 attendees so be sure you cease by early.
Ladies in Tech summit
I’m extraordinarily excited to share that on Monday, April 13th we can be persevering with the SXSW expertise by internet hosting a WIT summit beginning at 9AM titled: “Breaking the Code: Ladies in Tech and Enterprise Capital.”
The Bubbles and Enterprise brunch begins off the day with small eats, drinks, and (my favourite half) a chance to fulfill with native women-owned startups! In fact there can even be demos of API Insights, Panoptica, Calisti, and different Cisco tech. After the brunch, Cisco’s Lea Ryder will kick issues off with a heat introduction earlier than beginning three panel periods:

- Code for All: Methods for Making Coding Languages Extra Inclusive
- Ladies Entrepreneurs Navigating an Unsure Funding Panorama: Insights & Methods for Success
After the panels, the ground will re-open for some closing networking and we’ll wrap-up at 2PM.
